Project Management and Communication

Project management and communication are handled by project managers who have 10+ years of experience in the field of Rebar Detailing.

Project Coordination

Our project managers coordinate all projects in a highly constructive manner wherein, the projects are initially studied for scope and queries are clarified by reaching out to customers. Our project managers coordinate with Contractors, Structural Engineer, Architects and Placing team, helping in avoiding time lapses in communication. This helps in completing the project without any delay, saving time for the customers.

Construction Schedule Vs Approval Drawing Submission :

The pace of the job and the allocation of the teams are planned based on the construction schedule. The scheduling of the job is done in such a way that all the approved shop drawings are submitted 6-8 weeks prior to steel on job date.

Responding to the queries

All the questions and queries raised by the contractor and placing team are responded instantly via Email or Phone, to avoid any confusion.

Listing out the RFIs

All the RFIs are listed and segregated separately for Fabricators, Contractors, Placing Team, Structural Engineers & Architects, making it easy to reach out to the concerned authority to get the RFIs answered.

Coordinating with Placing Team and Structural Engineer

Project manager coordinates with the placing team and takes in all their suggestions for detailing, helping in carrying out the placing with ease. Then he gets confirmation from Structural engineer, if needed, before working on the placing drawings at the detailing stage.

Guiding the placing team

The project manager guides the placing team and solves their queries until the completion of the project. If required, the manager will visit the job site from time to time

Field use drawings

The project manager contacts the customer for engineering markups and gets the field use drawings ready before the commencement of the project.

Concrete Dimensional Drawings

Dimensional drawings, also known as Coordinate plans, show the exact location of all concrete elements from a known reference point using the standard cartesian coordinate system. These drawings provide all the information required to place concrete forms prior to rebar installation. Each X and Y dimension on the plan is given from both project origin (0,0) and from grid lines as way to double check the accuracy of the element placement.

3D BIM

Based on an intelligent model, BIM integrates structured data to produce a digital representation of your project across its lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and operations.

Rebar Estimator Training

Rebar Detailing and Estimating training is not available in a college setting in the United States. The City Rebar has developed its own training curriculum for professional detailers and estimators. Our continuous learning includes attendance at CRSI sponsored events, technical seminars, and in-office presentations from construction product vendors and suppliers. This long-term committment for training has allowed us to share rebar information with individuals outside of our company. We have trained over 70 detailers and estimators in the past seven years.
This training is available to our clients when time is mutually acceptable.
